Terms of Use

sub.analytics is a privacy-first website analytics service operated by Tilman Richter, Auf den Häfen 5, 28203 Bremen, Germany (“we”, “us”). The service tracks pageviews on websites owned by customers using a lightweight, cookie-free script.

You must be at least 16 years old to create an account. You are responsible for keeping your login credentials confidential. You are responsible for all activity that occurs under your account.

You must provide a valid e-mail address. We will use it only to send service-related communications (billing receipts, important notices) and, if you opt in, product updates.

After a 30-day free trial, continued use of sub.analytics requires a paid subscription at $5 per month (inclusive of applicable taxes where required). Payment is processed by Stripe. We do not store your card details.

Subscriptions renew automatically. You may cancel at any time via the Billing page in your dashboard. Cancellation takes effect at the end of the current billing period; no partial-month refunds are issued.

We reserve the right to change pricing with at least 30 days’ notice by e-mail. If you do not accept the new pricing, you may cancel before the change takes effect.

You may use sub.analytics only for websites you own or have authority to instrument. You must not use the service to track users on websites that contain illegal content, engage in fraud, or otherwise violate applicable law.

You must not attempt to reverse-engineer, overload, or interfere with the service or its infrastructure. Automated abuse of the API or tracking endpoint may result in immediate account suspension.

Analytics data collected for your sites belongs to you. We process it on your behalf to provide the service. We do not sell, share, or use your analytics data for advertising or any purpose other than operating sub.analytics.

Upon account deletion, your data is permanently erased within 30 days.

We aim for high availability but provide no formal uptime guarantee. The service is provided “as is.” We are not liable for any loss of data or revenue resulting from downtime.

We may suspend or terminate accounts that violate these terms, with or without notice depending on severity. You may delete your account at any time from the dashboard.

To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law, our total liability to you for any claim arising from or related to the service is limited to the amount you paid us in the three months preceding the claim.

These terms are governed by the laws of Germany. Any disputes shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of Bremen, Germany.

We may update these terms from time to time. Material changes will be notified by e-mail at least 14 days in advance. Continued use of the service after that date constitutes acceptance of the revised terms.
